Indy Laws taking effect July 1st

The Indy government has passed several new laws that will help to combat sexual predators. One law allows the electronic tracking of violent sexual predators for the rest of their lives. Another law restricts convicted sex offenders from "...living within 1,000 feet of a school, park or youth center and from working or volunteering at those and other places that attract children..." I would suggest looking into the existing applications of such laws. They have resulted in the loss (read: they simply disappeared off the radar and law enforcement can't find them) of a good 50% of sex offenders, as well as creating "hot zones" for sexual assault by forcing violent and non-violent "offenders" alike to clump together in what few areas are left to them.

The law enforcement agencies where these types of things already do exist beg that no others take up such laws, because it has only made their areas less safe. These things put people in greater danger.

Ever wondered why you hardly ever see kids in scouting uniforms any more? Or why just about all of the groups that used to provide healthy activities for kids have disappeared?

I'm 58. In my younger days, I was a scoutmaster, and was involved in several similar organisations for boys, including the Police and Citizens Youth Clubs. I am no longer allowed to engage in any of these activities because I have been charged (but not convicted) with a child sex offense.

Today, nobody who has any interest in the well being of boys can afford to go near such organisations as they will immediately come under suspicion.

Please read this book online;

It should be mandatory reading for every parent.
